Value Inculcation at Cambridge PublicSchool
Some of the important measures taken to empower the students with asound value system are :-
Children are reassured to believe in themselves. They have a right to dignityand self-esteem. All care is taken to respect their self-esteem - so essentialfor respecting each child an individual in his own right & lovingothers.Students are encouraged to take initiative, be original, honest &work independently. If mistakes occur, they are guided to correction `gently`¬ `critically`. A very positive attitude towards "mistakes" inknowledge & conduct is maintained.
Entire school is divided into fourHouses named after great Personalities of Indian History. 1. Netaji SubhashChander Bose House (Blue), 2. Rabindra Nath Tagore House (Red), 3. SardarVallabh Bhai Patel House (Green), 4. Bal Gangadhar Tilak House (Yellow). Eachhouse is leaded by a House-mistress. Each and every child is given a house sothat he/she can improve on confidence, skill and inborn talent. Interhousecompetitions are held on saturdays under5 the guidance of house-tutors. Eachhouse is given the opportunity to conduct morning assembly which is a specialfeature of C.P.S. daily life.
